Payment Information
As we produce both AKC (American Kennel Club) litters and CKC (Continental Kennel Club) litters, our prices are based mostly upon which kennel club the pups are registered with and whether the new owners want full or limited registration. Below is a FAQ which will hopefully answer some of the more common questions we hear. Regardless of which kennel club our dogs are registered with, they are all purebred Miniature Dachshunds and each and every puppy receives the same level of care and socialization. Regardless of registration, they all come with a contract guaranteeing his or her genetic health, with a replacement agreement if conditions are met.

Puppy FAQ

No puppies leave our home before they reach eight weeks old;

All puppies leave with their first round of vaccinations and a 'starter kit' including their vet records, registration paperwork, food, and a blanket with their mother's scent;

Visitors are welcome in our home, by appointment, to meet our either our parent dogs or puppies. However, we do not allow visitors during the first five weeks after birth, as the pups' immune systems are still delicate during that time;

We do not ship puppies;

Prices are as listed on the Available Puppies page. They will vary based on registration, sex, coat, etc.;

All AKC registered puppies are sold on limited registration, without breeding or showing rights, unless otherwise agreed upon and the additional fee paid;

We accept cash (in person only,) money orders, cashier's checks, and Zelle;

Sorry, but we do not take personal checks or credit cards;

Reservations will only be accepted after the puppies are born on a first come, first serve basis. Those who request via email to be placed on our Notification List will be emailed once the pups are born and informed of the exact date and time when our website will be updated with their pictures and specific information (price, sex, etc.) They become available once they appear on the site;

We charge a non-refundable deposit to hold a pup ($100 for CKC and $300 for AKC). This is put toward the total purchase price;

Deposits are transferable to any other available pup, up until you take your puppy home;

The full remaining balance of the total purchase price is required up front when picking up your puppy;

Please be aware that we cannot guarantee the puppy you want will be held until your deposit is received;

Puppies must be picked up within ten days of turning eight weeks old; if they are not, they either become available again or we charge a boarding fee of $10 a day for every day past ten which the puppy remains in our care in addition to any required vet fees or vaccinations.
